Follow along as I study for the CPA exam and finally earn my license

The California Board of Accountancy ("CBA") has the below four categories that have to be completed to quality for a CPA license.

Check out each section below to follow my progress for completing them all. I'm on schedule to finish all requirements early 2023.

Exam - 50% complete

Four sections of the CPA Exam. I must complete the remaining sections by November 2023 to avoid losing existing exam credits.

  1. FAR - Financial Accounting and Reporting - PASSED May 2022

  2. AUD - Auditing and Attestation - PASSED August 2022

  3. REG - Regulation - on schedule to test in November 2022

  4. BEC - Business Environment and Concepts - on schedule to test in January 2023

Education - 91% complete

Note: The below breakout has not been reviewed by the California Board of Accountancy and is my own estimate of how I expect my credits will apply to their requirements.

My Master's degree is in Finance and not Accounting, which means I have some catch-up work to meet the additional accounting education requirements.
